Loading the clock…

The game server runs on UTC−3; the dates follow the game's rules (see each page).

Schedule

When (server time)What
Event weekThe first Monday to Friday of the month (Global Battle seasons are calendar months).
Mon 20:30 – WedQualifiers: points from your Global Battle matches.
Thu 20:30Knockouts: Top 32 → Top 16 → Top 8, in 4 brackets.
Fri 20:30Top 4: semi-final, final and 3rd-place match (best of 3).

Qualifiers

  • Only your first 10 Global Battle matches of each day give points.
  • Points per match depend on your Global Battle tier: the higher the tier, the more points (the server sets the exact values).
  • Points reset every day; the ranking uses your best day of the three.
  • After your 10 matches of the day, the tier shown on the scoreboard is frozen until the next day.
  • The ranking refreshes every 5 minutes. Ties: points → tier → victory points in the current tier → who scored first.
  • The top 32 go to the knockouts, minus the spots of seeded players and guaranteed spots (with 2 seeds, only the top 30 qualify).
  • You need at least 3 Pokémon in your lineup. Without 32 players the knockouts don't happen.

Seeds and guaranteed spots

Seeded players

Go straight to the Top 32, without qualifiers:

  • the champion of the previous Global Peak;
  • the player with the highest battle power of the previous season who played the Global Battle in the 7 days before the qualifiers.

"New Star" list

  • Contribution points = daily task activity + diamonds spent (1 to 1).
  • You need at least 50,000 points to enter the list.
  • The top 3 get a guaranteed spot in the next Top 32 (if one is already seeded, the 4th takes it).
  • The count closes at 23:00 of the deadline; results after 23:10.

Knockouts and Top 4

  • The Top 32 is split into 4 brackets of single elimination (32 → 16 → 8 → bracket champion).
  • The 4 bracket champions play the Top 4 on Friday, always best of 3.
  • Winners of the first round play the final; losers play for 3rd place.

Betting

During the knockouts you can bet on one player of each match per round. The higher your level, the more you can bet. Odds are 1:1: a right bet pays twice the stake.

Rewards

Sent by mail when the competition ends. Each rank also gives Ultimate Prize points.
